Chopper Twirls Out of Control into Palm Trees at Popular California Coast
An aircraft flying near a popular California shoreline abruptly started spinning wildly, eventually dropping height and crashing into a row of palm trees as beachgoers observed.
Footage uploaded online capture the chopper commencing to spiral near the shoreline then descending towards the perimeter of the shore, where it gets stuck amidst palm groves and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Update
Local firefighters said five individuals were rushed to the hospital including two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on the weekend.
Three persons on the pavement were harmed. Information on their wounds were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
